Merge PDF Files

Combine any number of PDF documents into a single file — directly in your browser, without uploading anything to a server. Add files, arrange them in the order you need, and download the result.

How to use

  1. Add files. Drop one or more PDF files onto the upload area, or click it to open a file picker. You can select multiple files at once. After adding, each file shows its name, size, and page count.
  2. Set the order. Drag files up or down using the grip handle on the left, or use the ▲ / ▼ arrows. The order in the list is the order pages will appear in the merged document.
  3. Add more if needed. Click + Add more files at any time to include additional PDFs. Files are appended to the bottom of the list.
  4. Remove unwanted files. Click the button on any item to remove it from the list.
  5. Merge. Once you have at least two valid files, click Merge & Download. The merged PDF is saved to your device as merged.pdf.

Page order

Pages from each file appear in the merged document in exactly the same order as the files in the list — top to bottom. If you add three files, all pages from file 1 come first, then all pages from file 2, and so on. Reorder the files before merging to get the sequence you need.

Supported files

The tool accepts standard PDF files. Files that are password-protected cannot be merged — remove the password first using your PDF viewer or another tool, then add the file here. If a file cannot be read, it is flagged with an error and excluded from the merge automatically.

Output

The merged file is downloaded as merged.pdf. All pages from each source file are preserved in their original layout, dimensions, and orientation. No quality is lost — the tool copies page content directly without re-encoding.

Tips

  • Scanned documents: multi-page scans saved as separate PDFs merge exactly like any other PDF.
  • Mixed sizes: letter and A4 pages can be combined in the same document — each page keeps its original dimensions.
  • Large files: merging many large files may take a few seconds while the browser processes them.
